“Do You Love Me?” is an exploration of the questions that I’ve asked, and that I think most of us ask, for the entirety of our existences. It is not necessarily about coming to any conclusions, but rather fostering connection through mutual vulnerability. It’s my corner of the Internet where I hope to make others feel less alone, particularly (and especially) in a time when the world has asked us to isolate.

I’m Amanda. Maybe some of you know me from my plays, or from my time working for Wanderlust, or as the advice columnist on Hello Giggles. Maybe we met at a party, or Bar Bandini, or you’re a family member. In any case, hi! I’m genuinely so happy you’re here.

Starting a newsletter is a very vulnerable thing. It’s a metaphorical way of asking: do you love me? Will you read what I have to say? But I promise I’ll try not to let you down. I’ve always treated my words and writing with a lot of care and attention, as if they were an extra body part that required daily nourishment and exercise and grooming. I see this newsletter as an opportunity to offer advice, comfort, and inspiration, particularly when it relates to love.
